The Vac Exhaust Membrane Strip (VEMS) is a high-performance vacuum medium developed to improve vacuum infusion processes. It ensures efficient removal of air and volatiles from the laminate, helping to prevent dry areas and incomplete wet-out. By limiting resin migration into the vacuum line, VEMS simplifies infusion network layouts and reduces the number of vacuum connectors required, as well as print through as the tape remains flat on the part. The result is greater process consistency, less resin waste and rework, and enhanced overall part quality.
