A New Chapter for Aerontec – Graham Blyth Retires
After more than 20 years at the helm, our Founder and Managing Director, Graham Blyth, has officially stepped into retirement.
Graham’s leadership shaped Aerontec into the dynamic, trusted company it is today. His dedication to building a strong company culture, developing the South African composites industry, and fostering long-term partnerships has left a lasting legacy.
While he’s retiring from day-to-day operations, Graham will remain a friend to both Aerontec and the Biesterfeld Group, always ready with trusted advice when needed.
From all of us – thank you, Graham. We wish you a rewarding and well-deserved next chapter!
Aerontec at JEC World 2025 – Paris
We were proud to attend JEC World 2025 this March – the world’s leading composites trade show in Paris.
This year was especially meaningful, as the Biesterfeld Group hosted its first-ever booth, marking a growing global presence in composites and tooling.
A strong team from Aerontec and Biesterfeld connected with customers and partners across the globe. Our own Andrew Parsons (Sales Director, Composites) joined Massimo Cassol (R&D Manager, Maricell Srl) on stage to present the innovative Mycell PVC foam range:
- Mycell Eco Blue: A bio-based foam with a finer cell structure, reducing resin uptake.
- Mycell T: A high-density foam tailored for hardpoints and structural reinforcements.
