Mikon 399 MC Sealer

Mikon 399 MC is a specially designed surface sealer for porous surfaces to seal them with a high quality finish. If Mikon 399 MC is applied properly, there will be no need to sand nor to polish. Mikon 399 MC is normally used to seal porous surfaces, specifically tooling board materials and it is commonly used as a primer for model masters. Usually, two coatings with a final sanding using an abrasive fleece are sufficient for perfect sealing. However, the appropriate number of coating layers depends on the porosity of the surface. Only very thin layers of Mikon 399 MC must be applied as too thick layers tend to crack. For best release performance, we strongly recommend subsequent application of any semi-permanent release agent from our Mikon product series. Cured Mikon 399 MC can only be mechanically cleaned / removed.
