Release Films

Release film ensures that breather fabric or flow mesh does not bond to the curing resin. By use of various perforation patterns, the amount of resin that is bled out of the laminate can be controlled, to achieve the correct fiber ratio within the composite. The range of release films is suitable for low, medium, and high-temperature applications and are available in NP (non-perforated), P3 (vacuum bagging),  P31 (infusion), and P6 (low bleed prepreg) perforations. For high-temperature applications cast fluoropolymer release films, made of ETFE, FEP and PTFE are suitable for oven and autoclave pre-preg processing.
