CoreLite Board is a high-density, closed-cell PVC foam specially formulated to provide high physical properties. Engineered for easy workability, weatherproof and insulation properties, and excellent fire behaviour, it is characterized for its phenomenal screw retention and resistance to moisture; it will not rot, mould or mildew. Corelite is available in 450 density, compared to the typical 80 density used for structural cores, and is stocked in 1.22m x 2.44m x 12.5mm sheets. Compatible with commonly used resin systems, Corelite is normally used as a core in boat transoms or hardpoints in sandwich panels, but it can be used without skins as a replacement for wood and plywood. CoreLite Board is 27% lighter than plywood.
Only 12.5mm and very heavy!
