Biaxial Carbon Fabrics

A wide range of biaxial (±45 and 0/90) non crimp carbon fabrics suitable for structural applications. Manufactured by Sky Advanced Materials using Toray carbon and the latest spread tow technology. Spreading the tows allows for the manufacture of very low areal weight fabrics, starting at 80 grams per square meter biaxial fabrics for the light structure and UAV market. Weights of the 1.27m wide fabrics range from 80 gsm, 150 gsm, 200 gsm, 300 gsm, 400 gsm and 600 gsm, with many of the fabrics boasting DNV-GL approval for use in marine structures.
