Flextech Sustainable Technical Films
We recently welcomed Omar Turco, the CEO of Flextech Srl Italy, a manufacturer of technical films. Flextech supplies us with various technical films, including vacuum, release, and protective shrink films. These films are not just superficial plastic layers; they are complex co-extrusions with up to 9 layers, made from various polymers like polyamide, polyolefin, and polypropylene. These materials are designed for strength, temperature resistance, flexibility, puncture, and chemical resistance.
Flextech actively dedicates itself to developing sustainable solutions in the advanced composites industry. In 2024, they plan to introduce biodegradable release and vacuum bagging films for resin infusion, expanding our sustainable product line that already includes Sicomin biobased epoxy and Maricell Eco-PVC foams.
